Women all over the world are considered the weaker sex and men have over the centuries perceived women as second class citizens in general. The Cameroon case of relegating women to the background of all activities is alarming. The customs and traditions of the people consider a woman as a commodity that can be bought and sold at any time; consequently, such practices retard the growth and development of women and the girl child in particular and community development in general. With the coming of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), agreed upon by 193 governments giving the following to women;
OVERALL Objective of the program
To sustainably support the health of the rural population in Cameroon through the rendering of free health services, provision of basic health equipment, capacity building and infrastructural development.
