PROTECTION OF THE GIRL CHILD PROGRAM

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (5) talks of achieving gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls by 2030. In Cameroon which is Africa in miniature Characterized by a multiplicity of ethnic groups who differ in their world view still treat women and the girl child as a commodity destined to be sold or manipulated at will.

Overall objective of the program

To ensure the respect of the girl child as a human who has inalienable values as man.

Program Components

• Advocating for the rights of the girl child through workshops/seminars
• Promoting the education of the girl child (scholarships)
• Capacity building on profitable livelihood activities
• Construct a Girl Child Protection Training Center
