CHRISTMAS APPEAL

On Christmas day eight year old Mbuwir will wake up in a cold and lonely orphanage in Shisong. No longed-for presents; no sparkling tree; no one to tell her ‘we love you’ or ‘Merry Christmas’. This will be her third Christmas without the family she desperately needs; will you help us make it her last?

Unlike most little girls her age she won’t be wishing for the latest toys, new clothes or computer games. Her dream is simple. All she wants is to feel loved.

$50 could give many children living in this orphanage a delicious meal on Christmas Day and weeks after.

The staffs at the orphanage are doing their best to give Mbuwir and the other children the care and attention they need, but it’s impossible with the scarce resources they have to work with. Be the lovingfamily Mbuwir and other orphans miss so much.
