The Mantum/Kifom Bridge is in Jakiri Sub division and links the communities of Mantum and Kifom to other villages. This bridge was constructed to reduce the number of accidents on the Mantum/Kifom Bridge and to ease the movement of people and cars to other parts of the sub division.

CORA held a number of consultative meetings with the community leaders who agreed to support with labour and food for the technicians. CORA purchased the material needed for the construction of the bridge which included sand, concrete, stones, gravel, cement and rods.

The program implementation took four months instead of the two months programmed. The bridge was commissioned on the first of September 2018. CORA uses the hands on approach to ensure proper implementation of her projects.
To ensure sustainability, the community was made to own the bridge through participation in terms of labour and feeding. The community was thus schooled on how to take care of the bridge. Also CORA is working in partnership with the Jakiri council to ensure maintenance and sustainability of the Mantum/Kifom Bridge.
